In the Lord’s kind providence, the He saw fit to establish Mount Pleasant Baptist Church as a gospel witness in the community. For nearly 200 years, by God’s grace, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church has remained committed to the faithful proclamation of God’s Word, the sufficiency of Christ, and the hope of the gospel. Throughout its history, MPBC has been marked by a deep love for both the church and the surrounding community. Like many churches across generations, the ministry of MPBC has experienced seasons of growth, challenge, fruitfulness, and refinement. Yet through every season, the Lord has remained faithful to sustain His church. Today, we look ahead with gratitude for God’s faithfulness in the past and confidence in His promises for the future.
